Practise day - 30th August 09
More practise!
Woke up super early for me and dragged myself out of bed for another pactise day. We thought in Korea we would have some really hot hot weather but it turns out that its just like NZ weather! Windy, overcast and cool this morning with gusts blowing the sight off the targets so it was a challenge yet again! Its tough keeping the focus when you have to fight the weather conditions, but when I did I shot ok. Spent the morning shooting at 70m and succumbed to hunger and aches and went back to the hotel for lunch break, which ended up being at McDonalds, which wasnt too bad in the end.
Went for accreditation this afternoon which is just registering everyone for the tournament. The cool thing was that we had to go to the competition grounds for accreditation, and they were impressive. Driving up the road to the purpose-built range there were flags from all the countries on the hill, and a big front garden shaped like a bow and arrow. Inside the complex was an athletes area, vip area, tents for all the distributors (money money money) and even a building for an accommodation block.
I cant wait to shoot there, only two days to go.
